How to use

Sambhar :
Use Madras Sambhar Powder to flavor a hearty sambhar . Cook lentils with vegetables like tomatoes, carrots, and drumsticks, then add a tablespoon or two of the powder for authentic South Indian flavors. Pairs well with rice, idlis and dosa.

Bisi Bele Bath:
Prepare a delicious one-pot meal by cooking rice and lentils with Madras Sambhar Masala, vegetables, tamarind paste, and a tadka of mustard seeds, curry leaves, and cashews. Garnish with fresh coriander for added freshness.

Sambhar Vada:
Soak crispy vadas (fried lentil fritters) in hot sambhar made using the Sambhar Powder. This traditional South Indian dish is perfect for breakfast or as a snack.

Being a South Indian settled in North has made me drift away from south Indian dishes. Even you cannot find a good restaurant preparing any authentic South Indian dish. Only saving grace is to try making it yourself at home. I had tried no of sambhar powder but nothing clicked my taste buds. Finally my friend recommended me to try this Madras sambhar powder. Thanks to this, making sambhar at home has become easier. Even if you goof up in making idli or Vada, this sambhar covers it up for everything. A trip to the South

A big thanks to Home Kouzina for packing such delectable flavours in this packet .
